About me.
Double bass player and bass guitarist Maarten Taelman has established himself over the last few years as a busy and frequently asked freelance musician based in Ghent (Belgium). His work which crosses many different genres including playing with the Flemish Operahouse, The National Opera (La Monnaie), Brussels Philharmonic, Casco Philharmonic, Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra, Collegium Vocale Academy, Lumen Symphonicum, The Royal Band of the Belgian Guides, chamber music ensembles, studio sessions and pop and jazz corporate work.
